Job Description
We are seeking a talented Video Content Creator to join our team and help bring the KWAVE brand to life across video and digital platforms. In this role, you will plan, produce, and edit compelling video content — from product showcases and tutorials to creative short-form clips — that drive engagement, sales, and brand awareness.If you are passionate about K-Beauty, storytelling through video, and creating content that resonates with diverse audiences, this is your chance to play a key role in shaping KWAVE’s digital presence.

Location: New York / Los Angeles

Key Responsibilities
• Create, film, and edit high-quality video content for KWAVE’s e-commerce site, K-Live platform, and social media channels.
• Develop engaging product demonstrations, tutorials, and storytelling content that highlight KWAVE’s products and brand values.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and social media teams to align video content with campaigns and promotions.
• Produce short-form videos optimized for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Assist in planning and supporting live commerce events on K-Live through pre-recorded promotional content.
• Stay updated on video and social media trends to introduce fresh and creative content ideas.
• Manage video production from concept to delivery, ensuring consistency in quality, style, and branding.
• Optimize videos with proper formatting, thumbnails, and captions for maximum visibility and engagement.
• Track and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications
• Proven experience creating, editing, and publishing video content (portfolio required).
• Proficiency with video production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
• Strong creative storytelling skills and an eye for visual design.
• Knowledge of current social media and video content trends.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for beauty, cosmetics, and K-Culture.
• Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred, but not required).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check required as a condition of employment, by applicable laws.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience creating content for beauty, lifestyle, or retail brands.
• Strong on-camera presence and comfort in front of the camera (bonus).
• Understanding of both Korean and U.S. beauty market trends.
• Demonstrated ability to grow a social media platform with a large following.
• Intermediate proficiency in Korean (speaking, reading, writing) preferred, to support communication with vendors and team members.

Business hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch), Monday to Friday
