More Changes in Television Show Schedules For The Final Week of the Olympics 2020

More shows will be canceled because of the live coverage for the final week of the Olympics 2020.

More shows are known to skip episodes this week due to several changes as the major television networks cover the final leg of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

August 2

Weekday dramas "Be My Dream Family" on KBS1 and "Red Shoes" on KBS2, as well as SBS's "Amor Fati," are currently on hiatus. This week, neither the SBS drama "Racket Boys" nor the KBS2 variety show "Paik Class" will air.

August 3

“Be My Dream Family” on KBS1, “Red Shoes” on KBS2, and “Amor Fati” on SBS have all been taken off the air. For the second week in a row, MBC's "At Work Today" has been canceled, and SBS MTV's "The Show" will broadcast past highlights instead of a television telecast.

August 4

For the second week, MBC drama "On the Verge of Insanity" and SBS variety show "Shooting Stars" will not air, while KBS2's "Red Shoes," SBS's "Amor Fati," and MBC M's "Show Champion" will also be canceled. The MBC variety show "Radio Star" is on hiatus, while tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" will showcase highlights from previous episodes rather than a new episode. The final day off for KBS1's "Be My Dream Family" is August 4.

August 5

MBC's "On the Verge of Insanity," KBS2's "Red Shoes," and SBS's "Amor Fati" have all been canceled for the second time.

August 6

The breaks for KBS2's "Music Bank" and "Red Shoes," as well as SBS's "Amor Fati," continue, with August 6 being the final day off.

August 7-8

For the third and final week, MBC's "Music Core" and "How Do You Play?" are off the air. Depending on the outcome of the game, KBS2's "Immortal Songs" and "Revolutionary Sisters" may or may not air. South Korea and Dominican Republic will face off in the men's baseball games to determine who wins the bronze medal for this event on August 7.

The SBS show "Master in the House" will not be broadcast on August 8. Other shows that were canceled last week will air their skipped episodes as promised.

The schedules will still change depending on the outcome of the scheduled games.

South Korea is currently on 12th place in the Olympic medal board, with six gold medals and 19 medals in total. China, the United States, and Japan lead the top three in the leaderboard.
