Wouldnt call the plumping effect long lasting, but the smoother and moisturized lips are definitely long lasting. The texture and gloss are great and a little goes a long way. I have used other plumbers and found that they have a slight tingling sensation where this one almost has a sting to it. I read another review that called the sensation spicy and I have to agree. It is t unpleasant but it is definitely there.
