Nam Yoon Su opened up about his modeling days, acting career, and growing up in a recent interview with Allure Korea.
Nam Yoon Su expressed his nostalgia for his modeling days, saying, "Recently, recollections from my modeling days have been flooding my thoughts." When I act, I want to be 'actor Nam Yoon Su,' be natural on variety programs, and show up in photo shoots as'model Nam Yoon Su.'
When asked how acting and modeling have influenced him, he stated that they have helped him gain confidence.
"These days, I'm confident that I can accomplish anything." I was a little nervous when I first started modeling and when I first started acting. When confronted with something new, everyone behaves in this manner. But as I grew accustomed to it, my confidence grew, and I began to take on new challenges without hesitation. I want to push myself to attempt new and different things, whether it's an acting endeavor or a photo assignment."
When asked about his experience working on dramas such as "Extracurricular," "Birthcare Center," "Beyond Evil," and most recently, "The King's Affection," he elaborated.
"Each production was extremely difficult. It's a job that doesn't get any easier and to which I'm not accustomed. Future productions, I believe, will be more difficult than the ones I've already completed. That, I believe, is what it's like to encounter and express someone who isn't myself. It's a great burden to bear."
When asked if he feels like an adult, Nam Yoon Su gave his thoughts on the experience of growing up.
"It's kind of bad right now," he remarked, laughing. My appearance and mindset have shifted. It's a little embarrassing to call myself a mature adult, yet I am one. I've also grown in manliness."
"Isn't there possibly someone who thinks that way?" he added when asked why becoming an adult is so bad. People who remember me as a kid might say I'm a horrible sight now. "I believe I am evolving as a person."
