Friday, February 4th, 2019
Opening Ceremonies for the Olympic Games will be broadcast live on KBS1, MBC, and SBS starting at roughly 8:30 p.m. KST on August 25th. This means that KBS1's weekday drama "The All-Round Wife" will not be shown, while MBC's "Tracer" and SBS's "Through the Darkness" will also begin their three-week hiatuses as a consequence of the cancellation.
The 5th of February is a Saturday.
In order to accommodate Olympic coverage, KBS2's "Young Lady and Gentleman," MBC's "How Do You Play?," "Tracer," and "The Manager," and SBS's "Through the Darkness" will not air throughout the period of the Games. KBS2's "Immortal Songs" will premiere at 5:20 p.m. KST, which is 30 minutes earlier than the show's regular airtime.
Sunday, February 6 is a holiday.
In order to cover the Olympics, broadcast stations have decided not to run KBS2's "2 Days 1 Night Season 4," MBC's "My Teen Girl," and SBS's "Inkigayo" during the current week. Young Lady and Gentleman will air on KBS2 at 7 p.m. KST, 55 minutes earlier than normal, and "Superman Returns" will air at 9:50 p.m. KST, 35 minutes later than its usual time slot.
