Sunwoo of the Boyz tested positive for COVID-19.

Sunwoo used a self-test kit after coming into contact with a family member who was verified positive, according to The Boyz' label IST Entertainment on March 3. His symptoms persisted despite the negative results, so he took a PCR test.

IST Entertainment issued the following statement:

"After his positive confirmation, Sunwoo will concentrate on treatment until midnight on the 9th. The period of quarantine for COVID-19 ordered by the health authorities, and there are no special symptoms other than mild sore throat and cough. We're currently taking necessary measures in accordance with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities, and we'll faithfully cooperate by complying with the quarantine guidelines of self-quarantine and health authorities first."

Several members of THE BOYZ tested positive for COVID-19 in January, which includes Eric, Younghoon, Ju Haknyeon, Hyunjae, and Sangyeon. In early February, the following The Boyz members were allowed leave after finishing their quarantine period.

In addition to this, Jacob has also been diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 28 after returning to South Korea from a short vacation in his hometown in Canada.
