The "Squid Game" continues to win honors!

The 27th Critics Choice Awards were held in Los Angeles, California on March 13, local time. "Squid Game" was nominated for three Oscars and won two of them, including Best Foreign Language Series and Best Actor in a Drama Series (Lee Jung Jae). In addition, the show was nominated for Best Drama Series, which "Succession" won.

"Acapulco," "Call My Agent!" and "Squid Game!" were pitted against one other. "Lupin," "Money Heist," and "Narcos: Mexico" are the winners of the Best Foreign Language Series award. Lee Jung Jae beat out fellow nominees Sterling K. Brown ("This Is Us"), Mike Colter ("Evil"), Brian Cox ("Succession"), Billy Porter ("Pose"), and Jeremy Strong ("Succession") for the award. "I'm grateful to an amount I can't explain," Lee Jung Jae said during his acceptance speech. "I owe Netflix and 'Squid Game' a debt of gratitude."

In addition, Lee Jung Jae, Jung Ho Yeon, and Park Hae Soo presented the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television at the presentation.

Lee Jung Jae and Jung Ho Yeon recently made history by becoming the first Korean actors to win Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, respectively, at the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. Lee Jung Jae was also honored at the 37th Film Independent Spirit Awards earlier this month for Best Male Performance in a New Scripted Series.
