The song was written and composed by Bang Yedam of TREASURE. Kang Seung Yoon said, "I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it. If I were to describe the genre, it was an emotional RB with YG's unique trendyness."

The lyrics contain the heart of a man who has a hard time accepting parting. In the music video, Kang Seung Yoon played scenes of love and parting. He said, "It was my first time acting in a desperate breakup with a female actor, but there were many scenes that required intense emotional lines. There is no script, and there are parts that have to be filled with ad-libs,” he mentioned as he shared behind the scenes experience.
