Singers Jay Park and IU performed their first live performance of 'Ganadara'.

Jay Park was a guest on IU's YouTube channel show 'IU's Palette', which was released on the 16th. IU featured in Jay Park's new digital single 'GANADARA', which was released on the 11th. The two performed their new song live for the first time, exuding a warm chemistry.

'GANADARA' is a bright and cheerful pop RB suitable for spring, with lyrics full of excitement suitable for White Day, an easy-to-sing melody, and a combination of Jay Park and IU's refreshing vocals. WOOGIE, who produced IU's 'Empty Cup' Loco and Hwasa's 'Don't Give Me', participated as producers.

Jay Park said, "I started working on this when IU asked who made 'All I wanna do'." IU said, "I wondered who wrote it and wanted to work with it. After that, we contacted him occasionally, and after about six years, we started working in earnest.” Jay Park said, “As soon as I heard the story, I immediately prepared it. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to work with 'The Best Korea Hip Hop Artist' IU, so I prioritized it and worked on it. I sent it in a very nervous state, but thankfully they accepted it.”

IU said, "I really like Park Jae-beom's music and I've heard a lot of good things about the artist Park Jae-beom. “I was very surprised by the momentum,” he said. When Jay Park praised her beauty while recalling the music video shooting site, IU said, “It was a little pretty that day. It was one of the most beautiful days this year.”

IU and Jay Park almost met as concert guests before ‘GANADARA’. When IU said, “I asked if you can be a guest star in my concert, but it didn’t happen because your were performing overseas.” Jay Park joked, “It was an honor, but the penalty for breach was too large, so I couldn’t cancel the (overseas) schedule.” He said, "If IU's performance is resumed, I will request it first. I will not hold overseas schedules for 5 years from now.”
