The group BTS won two awards at the recently-concluded '2022 iHeartRadio Music Award.'
BTS won the 'Best Music Video of the Year' category with 'Butter' as well as the 'Best Fan Army' award at the '2022 iHeart Radio Music Awards' held in Los Angeles on the 22nd (local time).
BTS has set a record of winning awards for the fifth year in a row since winning the 'Best Fan Army' category at the 'iHeartRadio Music Awards' in 2018. The group has won the ‘Best Music Video’ award for three consecutive years starting in 2020.
BTS said in a video, "Thanks to your love and support, we were able to receive this award. It means a lot to BTS that ARMY is together.” He said, “Thank you for loving our music, including ‘Butter’. ARMYs are amazing and the best.”
The ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards’ is a music awards ceremony hosted by the American online radio broadcaster iHeartRadio since 2014. BTS first made a relationship with this awards ceremony by winning the 'Best Boy Band' and 'Best Fan Army' categories in 2018. In 2019, it won the 'Best Fan Army' award, and in 2020, it won the 'Best Music Video' award for 'Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)' together with 'Best Fan Army'. Last year, it was named in the 'Best Music Video' category with 'Dynamite' along with 'Best Fan Army'.
Meanwhile, BTS will attend the '64th Grammy Awards' to be held in Las Vegas, USA on the 3rd of next month. The nominees for the award in the 'Best POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE' category with 'Butter' will perform solo at the awards ceremony.
