CL and TOMORROW X TOGETHER To Perform At 'Summer Sonic 2022' in Japan

CL and TOMORROW X TOGETHER are preparing to represent K-Pop at 'Summer Sonic 2022,' Japan's largest music event of the year! Following the breakout of the COVID-19 epidemic, this will be the first in-person iteration of Summer Sonic in three years, taking place on August 20 and 21 in Osaka and Tokyo.

On August 20, CL and TOMORROW X TOGETHER will perform in Osaka, and on August 21, they will perform in Tokyo. Post Malone, ONE OK ROCK, Megan Thee Stallion, Carly Rae Jepsen, Yungblud, All Time Low, Beabadoobee, The 1975, and a slew of other international acts will perform at Summer Sonic 2022, featuring Post Malone, ONE OK ROCK, Megan Thee Stallion, Carly Rae Jepsen, Yungblud, All Time Low, Beabadoobee, On the same day as the boy group, American pop artist Salem Ilese, who just released the track 'PS5' in collaboration with TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Yeonjun and Taehyun, will perform in Tokyo.

CL stunned everyone when she performed with The Black Eyed Peas at the Summer Sonic festival in 2017. CL will be performing for the first time in five years on the Summer Sonic stage this year.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER, meanwhile, recently became the first male K-Pop group to score on Billboard's Song Breaker chart. According to Billboard, the chart intends to provide "an industry standard ranking of producers in the digital arena who are driving music consumption through content creation" by compiling data from content creation and interaction platforms like TikTok and YouTube. This success comes on the heels of TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 'PS5' collaboration tune with Salem Ilese's recent release.
