Before the end of the year, Gong Myung will join in the military.

Saram Entertainment, Gong Myung's agency, issued a statement about the actor's military enrollment date on November 9. The following is the whole statement:

We are Saram Entertainment.

On December 14, our agency's actor Gong Myung will enroll in the military as an active-duty soldier. We appeal for your unwavering support for Gong Myung, who will return after finishing his military duty as a South Korean citizen.

The place and timing of his enrollment will be kept confidential to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Please accept our apologies.

Gong Myung, who was born in 1994, began acting in the 2013 online drama "After School: Lucky or Not." Following that, he appeared in tvN's "Drinking Solo," JTBC's "Melo Is My Nature," and SBS's "Lovers of the Red Sky," as well as the film "Extreme Job." Gong Myung is presently featured in "House on Wheels 3," a tvN variety show.
