Dejavu Group artist Khundi Panda, who has recently released his 2nd full-length album “The Spoiled Child : 균," has revealed the music video for the album’s title track “마트료시카 (ceci n'est pas une pipe).”
The music video starts Khundi Panda smoking cigarettes which can be related to the translation of the song title which is “this is not a pipe.” "ceci n'est pas une pipe" is the most famous painting of Belgian painter René Magritte which shows a pipe, but is contrary to what its literal name means. On the other hand, the 마트료시카 refers to the Matryoshka dolls which are a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. The name matryoshka, literally "little matron", is a diminutive form of the Russian female first name "Matryona" or "Matryosha."
Additionally, the song "마트료시카 (ceci n'est pas une pipe)" is produced by Yoon Seongho, Noogi and SHINDRUM, while Khundi Panda himself wrote the lyrics and participation in the composition and arrangement.
