YouTube has finally unveiled its 2021 Top 10 List. The categories include Top Trending Videos, Top Music Videos, Top Creators, Breakout Creators, and Top Shorts Creators. The list covers the period of January 2021 to November 2021.

For the top music videos list, YouTube states that it is "based on in-country views of official music videos uploaded in 2021" from Google Data from January 1 to November 1, 2021.

The No. 1 top music video in South Korea is none other than Lim Young Woong's "My Starry Love." The famous trot singer's music videos has garnered 43.46 million views as of December after being released on March 9, 2021. Second place goes to K-Pop's pride and glory, BTS, and their music video for the song "Butter." It is also currently the record holder of the most viewed music video in the first 24 hours of release with 108.2 million views. Released last May, as of December 3, the music video has amassed 632.64 million views on YouTube. 

IU's "Celebrity"  music video is in third place. Released on January 27, "Celebrity" was No. 1 for six weeks in the Korean Music Charts. It currently has 116.3 million views on YouTube. Fourth place is awarded to BTS' "Permission to Dance" music video. Realeased last July, it garnered 72.3 million views in the first 24 hours of its release, placing it at No. 7 in the most viewed music in the first 24 hours of release. As of December 3, the music video has 386 million views.

"Lilac" by IU, released on March 25, is at No. 5. The music video now has 67.25 million views as of December 3 on YouTube.
