Lalisa Manobal, or more famously known simply as Lisa, is the Thai superstar of world sensation Korean pop group BLACKPINK. She is the face of many high-end brands all over the world. Today, she has a new gig. Lisa has been announced as the global brand ambassador for the Celine Haute Parfumeri collection.
Lisa first became Celine's global ambassador in 2020 after working closely with the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned house's creative director Hedi Slimane in 2019. This past September, BLACKPINK's resident rapper forayed into the fashion world by releaseing a limited-edition collection inspired by her debut album which was released in September, "Lalisa". This summer, she was also appointed as a juror for the 2021 Andam Awards. On December 3, she made her virtual runway debut in Celine's spring/summer 2022 show.
In a photograph released and captured by Hedi Slimane, the Thai beauty is seen to have stretched gracefully along a metallic staircase banister. The black-and-white picture was immediately posted on Celine's Instagram page as a top feature in their Celine Haute Parfumerie campaign.
Launched in 2019 with 11 fragrances, the high perfumery collection focuses on the androgynous outlook of the designer for the scents are available for both men and women. Its fragrance carries a touch of iris, chypre notes, rose, or tree moss -- all of which are meant to embody the personal history of Hedi Slimane. Each fragrance is meant to refine the memories of a place, people, or even a moment that is precious to the creative director. Celine describes the fragrances as an "enveloping and sophisticated patina prolonged by the elegance of a couture residual trail, capturing a fleeting memory and emotion as it wafts by".
