TXT Raises the Korean Flag Higher in NME's 50 Best Albums of 2021

They are the only South Korean name on the list.

It is worth noting that TXT was the only Korean artist to appear on NME's year-end list of "The 50 Best Albums of 2021."

This year's top 50 albums were announced on December 10 at noon local time by the British newspaper, with TXT's second studio album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" landing at No. 38 on the annual list of the finest albums released in the previous year.

"Leaders of K-fourth pop's generation confront the hard facts of life," Rhian Daly stated in her review of the album, which summarized the album in a single statement.

'Escape' was a significant subject in Tomorrow X Together's 'The Dream Chapter' series, but the band's turbulent follow-up brought the group squarely back to reality,' Daly continued. The band's varied, angst-ridden second studio album poured its heart and soul into bringing the difficulties and tragedies of early adulthood to life on the listener's ears. However, even beneath emo-pop-colored clouds of cynicism, brilliant flashes of optimism managed to peek through and melt the hold of pessimism."

TXT's previous catalog was a skip-free zone prior to the publication of "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," according to NME, who gave the album an enthusiastic five-star review when it was initially published this spring. This new album not only maintains the band's perfect track record of hit singles, but it also represents their finest release to date. It's an album that signifies a significant leap forward."

"The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE," their repackaged version of "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," has also just made the list of "The 50 Best Albums of 2021" compiled by the American magazine Rolling Stone. TXT is the only Korean artist to have made the list.

TXT should be congratulated!
