BTS's Suga has totally recovered from the new coronavirus and has been removed from quarantine, according to his agency, which announced the news on Monday.
It was determined that Suga had fully recovered from COVID-19 by the time he was removed from isolation at noon, according to Big Hit Music, which announced the news on the agency's fan community site Weverse.
Following a return from Los Angeles, where the group performed large-scale live concerts in late November and early December, the rapper tested positive for the virus on December 24. He had only returned home the day before.
According to the agency, he had had a full course of vaccination and had no signs or symptoms of the disease.
"Suga did not exhibit any specific symptoms and is currently recuperating while taking a break," the statement continued.
Both rapper RM and vocalist Jin, who tested positive for the virus, are expected to be declared totally recovered and discharged from isolation as soon as Tuesday, according to the BTS management team.
