“Show Window: The Queen’s House” Tops the Ratings With New Personal Best + “Ghost Doctor” Shows Promising Premiere

Congratulations to the cast and crew of "Show Window: The Queen’s House."

Channel A’s "Show Window: The Queen's House" has won the lead among Monday-Tuesday dramas!

The January 3 broadcast of "Show Window: The Queen's House" had an average nationwide audience rating of 6.997%, according to Nielsen Korea. This is the drama's new personal high in terms of ratings, up slightly from its prior high of 6.406 percent. As the number one Monday-Tuesday evening drama, there's a lot of pressure on it to break Channel A's record of 8.203 percent set by "Lie After Lie."

The first episode of tvN's "Ghost Doctor" premiered Friday night to encouraging numbers, with a countrywide average of 4.4 percent. "Ghost Doctor" is a fantasy medical drama about Cha Young Min (Rain), a brilliant thoracic surgeon, and resident Go Seung Tak (Kim Bum), who have completely different backgrounds, skills, and personalities but end up merging bodies and spirits. Son Naeun of Apink plays Oh Soo Jung, an emergency room intern, and Uee plays Jang Se Jin, a neurosurgeon.

The fifth episode of KBS 2TV's "Moonshine" saw a drop in viewership, with an average nationwide audience rating of 5.4, down from 7.6% the week before.

"Our Beloved Summer" on SBS received a 3.6 percent average nationwide rating, a little decrease from the drama's previous high of 4.3 percent recorded last week.

The average nationwide rating for JTBC's "The One and Only" was 0.896 percent, somewhat higher than the 0.58 percent for the previous show.
