Lee Se Rin, more popularly known as Kasper, makes it to the headlines for making her debut with the band “No Sleep Club.”
No Sleep Club (Kim Seong-ju, Kim Seok-yeol, Kim Geon-woo, Lee Se-rin) started their official activities by releasing their first single album ‘SAMMY’ through various music sites at noon on the 5th.
‘SAMMY’ is an album produced and produced by Kim Seong-joo, Kim Seok-yeol, Kim Geon-woo, and Lee Se-rin.
The title song 'SAMMY' marks the start of No Sleep Club and a song that shows the color of the band. Based on the pop punk genre popular in the early 2000s, an impressive guitar loop that catches attention from the intro, and a hook with repeated witty English lyrics expressed teen sensibility.
The B-side song 'It's Not a Drama' is a song that expresses the message of No Sleep Club with and lyrics that anyone can easily relate to, 'Life is not as perfect as a drama'. If 'SAMMY' shows the American teen feeling and the atmosphere of the pop punk genre, 'It's Not a Drama' has a more familiar Korean rock ballad feel to the public.
Kasper's vague and emotional voice, who now uses the name Lee Se-rin, a solo line with Kim Seong-joo's sorrow, Kim Gun-woo and Kim Seok-yeol's unique bassline, and the sound of drums add to the perfection of the song.
Nosleep Club, which is starting its full-fledged activities with the release of its first single album ‘SAMMY’, plans to continue its strong stride by presenting a variety of music in order to become a ‘witty and pleasant band’.
