Kep1er Dominates Japan Charts With Debut Album "First Impact"

Kep1er's continues to impress with their debut! For two weeks in a row, the girl group has been among the top artists on Japan's primary music chart, "Oricon."

According to Oricon, Kep1er's debut mini album, "First Impact," charted in second place. The rankings are based of physical album sales, digital album sales, and streaming sales. The group reached the top of the charts almost immediately after releasing their record, makin their way up to the 2nd spot on both the weekly album rankings and digital album sales on January 14th.

Aside from Oricon, the album has charted at number two on Billboard Japan and number one on YouTube Japan Music. In addition, Kep1er was able to achieve the top spot on the Japan Line Music real-time rankings.

With their debut album and track "Wa Da Da," Kep1er is on a roll and continues to create an impact in the business. The album has rocketed to the top of the Apple Music and iTunes Japan rankings in all genres and Kpop.

Kep1er is a newly-formed group that arose from a reality survival show. Kim Chae-hyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Choi Yu-jin, Kim Da-yeon, Seo Young-eun, Kang Ye-seo, Hikaru Ezaki, Mashiro Sakamoto, and Shen Xiaoting are the final members of the group.
