GOT7 member and H1GHR Music artist, JAY B, donated to build an emergency support system for blind spots in welfare.
JAY B recently donated 50 million won through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation (Gyeonggi Northern Regional Headquarters) to the 'Goyang Love Sharing Hope' campaign to establish an emergency support system for blind areas in Goyang.
'Goyang Love Sharing Hope' is a campaign that has been ongoing since the Goyang City and Children's Foundation signed a business agreement in August of last year. Help is delivered to families with children in blind spots in welfare and emergency support.
JAY B said, "I am grateful that the love of the fans has gathered and can provide great support. It is even more meaningful to be able to participate in the donation delivery ceremony for the first time since the launch of the special city of Goyang."
In December of last year, JAY B donated 100 million won to children from disadvantaged groups in Korea through the Green Umbrella, and has continued to support activities such as joining the Green Noble Club, a group of major donors of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
In particular, he supported the proceeds from the sale of merchandising (MD) and def Represent last year made with photos taken by JAY B himself, and his accumulated donations exceeded 100 million won, becoming a role model for many. This donation was used to support families in crisis and children affected by abuse due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Jay B joined H1GHR Music last year and left a strong impression on music fans as a solo artist. In particular, JAY B's first solo EP 'SOMO:FUME', released in August of last year, recorded sales of about 100,000 copies as a physical album, It topped the iTunes album charts in 49 regions.
Jay B plans to continue active music activities in 2022.
