The Korean Hip-Hop Awards (KHA), an awards ceremony specializing in domestic genre music, announces the finalists for each category and starts voting on the 20th.

Khundi Panda, unofficialboyy, and Changmo were nominated for 'Artist of the Year', and newcomers Kwon Kibaek, SINCE, BE'O, and Big Naughty, who showed fresh moves, were nominated for 'New Artist of the Year'. In addition, about 50 artists were nominated in a total of 10 categories.

In the midst of fierce competition among hip-hop and RnB artists in each category, Changmo, who released her second full-length album this year, was nominated in four categories and took the most nominations. In this year's hip-hop track alone, two works were nominated for a total of five titles. In addition, unofficialboyy and HAIFHAIF, which released 'Net, Trap, Launcher, Capture', were nominated in three categories each.

'KHA 2022', a project jointly planned by HIPHOPPLAYA and HIPHOPLE, two media representing Korean hip-hop, is a collection of domestic hip-hop and RnB works and artists released from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. This is an award ceremony for the target audience. 'KHA 2022', which is the 6th year this year, highlights the works of the hip-hop and RB genres and the activities of artists.

'KHA 2022' awards a total of 10 categories including 'Artist of the Year', 'Hip-Hop Album of the Year' and 'RnB Album of the Year'. Unlike last year, in addition to music critics and media experts, experts from various fields such as label, AR, and video directors joined the selection committee. To establish fairness and diversity, netizen votes and selection committee votes were combined in a 5 to 5 ratio. The final winner will be determined.

The final voting for 'KHA 2022' will be held from the 20th to the 31st. Anyone can participate in voting through the KHA official website.Meanwhile, the 'KHA 2022' award is scheduled to be held between February and March 2022, and will be broadcast in the form of an online live broadcast due to the corona virus this year as well as last year.
