Im Soo Hyang, Honey J, Jang Do Yeon And More To Join Basketball Variety Show 'Jump Like a Witch'

This new variety show aims to showcase the athletic skills of eight female celebrities.

Im Soo Hyang, Honey J, Jang Do Yeon, and others have joined an upcoming basketball variety program!

"Jump Like a Witch," a new variety show on JTBC, follows eight female celebrities as they learn how to increase their energy and athletic skills through basketball. It will be a struggle for individuals who aren't naturally athletic and haven't participated in sports in a long time for various reasons.

Song Eun Yi, Go Soo Hee, Byul, Park Sun Young, Jang Do Yeon, Honey J, Ok Ja Yeon, and Im Soo Hyang are among the eight cast members. Although they are all leaders in their professions, it has been a long time since they've recharged their batteries with sports, and now that they're on a team, they'll be able to do so much more successfully.

Song Eun Yi will overcome the challenges of being the group's oldest and shortest member, as well as her lack of cartilage, through this program, while also serving as the team's dependable source of stability. Actress Go Soo Hee has only been exposed to Pilates as a form of exercise for the past three years, leaving fans curious as to how she will adjust to basketball.

Because she is married to a basketball addict, Byul has been exposed to a lot of basketball. However, after years of caring for their children, the singer has suffered recurrent wrist pain, and this program will test whether Byul can overcome this physical hurdle. On "Jump Like a Witch," former SBS news anchor Park Sun Young discussed her abrupt loss of energy and her plans to rebuild her bodily strength after becoming a free agent.

Jang Do Yeon, while being the tallest and potentially most advantageous member, has no basketball experience. She will strive to improve her stamina as part of her quest to learn more. Honey J, the head of the hip hop dance crew Holy Bang, will appear on "Jump Like a Witch" as a regular cast member for the first time since "Street Woman Fighter." Despite being an extraordinarily brilliant dancer, Honey J will use basketball to help her conquer her chronic asthma.

Actress Ok Ja Yeon used sports to convey her ambition to overcome her frail physical appearance. Im Soo Hyang, a fellow actress, revealed that the only cardio exercise she gets is bouncing around at karaoke, and she aims to change that by taking up basketball.

Moon Kyung Eun, coach Hyun Joo Yup, and team manager Jung Hyung Don will be assisting their team. Moon Kyung Eun is a famed "Rambo shooter" and Hyun Joo Yup is a former professional basketball player who coached the team on JTBC's "Let's Play Basketball." Viewers may expect banter and chemistry between these two former players. Jung Hyung Don, who will serve as the group's support, has joined them as team manager.

"We've assembled eight unnies representative of the entertainment business who have separated themselves from sports," the production team said. We are unconcerned even if they are unable to participate in sports or are stiff. We intend to begin with the fundamentals and progress at a leisurely pace. Keep an eye out for the eight unnies' exciting basketball challenge, which they will not abandon despite their severe muscle discomfort."

"Jump Like a Witch" will air on JTBC on February 15 at 9 p.m. KST. Below is a teaser for the film.
