Immediately after the release of his second album, VIXX's Ravi sat down with Newsen to discuss his title tune, working with numerous featured musicians, and more!

Ravi's second album, "LOVEandFIGHT," was released on February 8 with the title tune "WINNER," and it depicts the story of giving your all to those you love and facing what you have to face, according to Ravi.

Ravi's first new album in two years, "LOVEandFIGHT," is the follow-up to his 2020 release "EL DORADO." "This is the longest time I've spent working on an album since I started making music," he said. In order to create the sound of this record, I had a lot of discussions with producers. I'm thrilled, but empty, now that the result has been published."

"I thought all the situations, people, dreams, and connections within our lives corresponded to the phrases love and fight, thus I decided on 'LOVEandFIGHT,'" Ravi stated about the album title.

"It's a song that has to do with the feelings of your competitiveness evaporating in front of those you love," Ravi said of his title tune "WINNER." Every element is important, but the high-pitched guitar in the chorus will give you a thrill in your chest if you listen to it."

ASH ISLAND, nafla, and Paul Blanco are among the artists who appear on the album. "The musicians I worked with this time naturally ended up starring after we met up, chatted, and I showed them stuff I was working on for my album," Ravi said of collaborating with these artists. We were able to work more effortlessly and enjoyably because the musicians in question all had different tunes they wanted to collaborate on."

"I want to hear, 'Ravi is good at this.' I really hope that my fans will grow more pleased via this album," Ravi said when asked about his ambitions for this record.

Finally, Ravi addressed his fans with a message. So he apologized for saying "I'm sorry, I said I was going to release a full album, but it's simply getting longer." I put extra effort into it because I wanted to create an album that you could enjoy for a long time and that you could all enjoy. Thank you so much for always being there for me and putting your best foot forward in your roles. I'll also put in more effort and be more expressive. My loves, I'll see you at 'Revoir,' my next show. ”
