From March 5 to 7, Moonbyul of the group Mamamoo will perform two solo performances in Seoul, according to the agency RBW Entertainment on Tuesday.
Her performance will be entitled "Director's Cut: 6quence," and she will play a sequence of songs, including pieces from her most recent solo third EP, "6quence." The EP was her first solo release in almost two years, and it debuted at the top of the iTunes albums lists in 20 different countries. It sold more than 70,000 copies in its first week on the market.
According to the firm, the performance would be akin to a movie in that it will capture different sides of the performer in different sequences.
It has been over two years since she last performed as a soloist, and the second day's live event will be streamed online as well as on television.
She made her debut as the primary rapper of the female quartet in 2014, and her first solo release was the single "Selfish" in 2018. She is now working on her first album.
