Hyeri of Girl's Day talked about her role in "Moonshine," her experiences with co-stars, her objectives for the year, and more in a recent interview.

Hyeri recently starred in "Moonshine," a historical drama set during the Joseon era, when prohibition rules were at their most severe. Kang Ro Seo (Hyeri), a struggling aristocrat who begins illegally producing alcohol to feed her family, and Joseon's greatest inspector Nam Young (Yoo Seung Ho), who is famed for living a very upright life, narrate their love story. They also get mixed up with drunken crown prince Lee Pyo (Byun Woo Seok) and Han Ae Jin (Kang Mina), the adored only daughter of a noble family.

When questioned about her feelings about playing Ro Seo in the drama "Moonshine," she said the role inspired her to work harder. "I want to do better," she explained. I believe I was more serious while thinking about how I could make the character appear more charming and how I could convey the character's objectives and what she wanted to say. I was sad when Ro Seo was unhappy, and I was delighted when she was happy. I wanted to perform better, and I believe I will in the future [production], therefore I am thankful for the role Ro Seo."

Hyeri featured in the dramas "Reply 1988" and "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" before "Moonshine," and when asked about the differences between the two projects, she said, "Ro Seo's strongest charm is wisdom." She's a person who acts on her thoughts, thus I believe she's a versatile character. She is a person who is adamant about doing what she believes is right, but who can also listen intently to other people's tales. Those are the distinctions between the characters."

"It was one of the earliest filming sessions, but we had to film the ending first," she replied when questioned about her love connection with Yoo Seung Ho. I was nervous about recording the concluding scene at first, but I felt like I had formed a bond with Nam Young despite the fact that we had never worked together before. 'We'll get along fine in the future,' I reasoned.

"There were many scenes I had with Seo Ye Hwa," she said, expressing her gratitude to co-stars Kang Mina and Seo Ye Hwa. The scenario in which I assist in the release of Cheon Geum is the most memorable (Seo Ye Hwa). We both cried a lot because it's a scenario where the two protagonists are dealing with problems, sorrows, and adversity. In addition, I shot a number of key moments with Mina. Mina is a buddy of mine who I believe is fantastic. Everything about her is excellent, from her preparation to her demeanor. Because we could share it, it was a wonderful and happy setting."

Hyeri is noted for having good chemistry with the actors she works with in all of her productions. "I think how I treat people on set is revealed on the film," she responded when asked what her secret was. I believe it shows a little more on screen if you are concerned and curious about someone's well-being. Actually, there isn't a specific secret."

She also mentioned her partner Ryu Jun Yeol, who was her biggest supporter during the event. "My boyfriend is extremely supportive of me, so I'm really grateful," she remarked with a smile. I was ecstatic because he seemed to like watching this show so much."

Hyeri turned 29 this year, according to Korean calendars. "Normally, I'm a person who makes objectives good in the new year," she remarked when asked about her sentiments about turning 30, "but this year, my goal is to live healthy." That's why, for the first time, I'm taking pilates courses. It feels good to feel like I'm accomplishing something on my own after continuously exercising. I'm still in that mood these days. Actually, I had no idea my 30s would arrive so rapidly. For some reason, now that it's here, it feels like I'm celebrating January 1 for the first time. Everyone says your 30s aren't important, but I want to make the most of mine. I’ll do a good job of attending pilates classes.”

Sojin, Minah, and Yura, who are all presently working as actresses, are also members of Girl's Day. When asked about the other members, Hyeri revealed that she had had a dream about the group, adding, "A while ago I had a dream about Girl's Day." Minah and I were performing, and YoonA from Girls' Generation was also present. 'Are you two performing?' Yoona questioned, looking at me. 'Do I have to perform right now?' I wondered. '”

She laughed out loud before continuing to chat enthusiastically about the other members. "The members are the ones I chat to the most comfortably and frequently," she remarked. We're like family, and we're quite familiar with one other's opinions, positions, and circumstances. It's reassuring to know that I have people with whom I can speak freely. I'm incredibly pleased of Yura because she's doing so well in 'Forecasting Love and Weather.' Minah is in the middle of making a movie, and Sojin is in the middle of filming a drama, so I'm hoping for a major hit."

"Nothing has been decided yet, and I'm considering various possibilities," Hyeri explained when questioned about her future ventures. I'm considering what type of entertaining story I can tell and what kind of message I can convey through a project. I'm now learning acting with several of my actor pals. I'm eager to get on set as soon as I finish my studies. I'm trying to make a choice as quickly as possible so fans don't have to wait too long."
