Eric of THE BOYZ will be taking a hiatus from work owing to health reasons.

THE BOYZ's management company, IST Entertainment, issued the following statement on the group's official fan café on March 4.

Hello, this is IST Entertainment.

This is an announcement regarding the health and future activities of THE BOYZ member Eric.

Recently, Eric has been having difficulties participating in promotions due to feeling unwell and other health issues. He went to get a more precise diagnosis and is now receiving plenty of rest and stability.

With the artist’s health and stability as our top priority, the agency has judged that it is impossible for Eric to push himself with work at this time. After many careful discussions with Eric and the other THE BOYZ members, Eric decided that he would focus on recovering his health with rest and treatment. Therefore, Eric will be temporarily taking a break from activities.

THE BOYZ will continue to carry out their schedule as 10 members. As this decision was made for the artist’s health, we ask fans for their understanding.

We will release information about his recovery and his return to activities as the situation changes in future.

Eric will not be participating in any other separate schedules during his rest period and instead focusing on his health. We will do our best so that he can get well soon.
