Park Bo Young, Lee Je Hoon, Lee Jong Suk, and More Celebrities Gather To Send Relief To The Wildfire Victims

A lot of celebrities are still sending in their donations to people affected by the wildfire.

Various celebrities have given considerate donations to aid victims of the ongoing wildfire that started on Korea's eastern coast earlier this month.

On Friday, March 4, a major wildfire broke out on a mountain near the beach town of Uljin in North Gyeongsang Province on Korea's eastern coast. It then spread to the nearby city of Samcheok in Gangwon Province, and then to other eastern coastal cities like as Donghae and Gangneung.

Park Bo Young donated 50 million won (roughly $40,527) to the National Disaster Relief Hope Bridge Association on March 5. The money will be used to provide temporary accommodation for victims as well as emergency relief kits for firemen who have been working diligently in dangerous conditions.

Actor Lee Je Hoon donated 100 million won (roughly $81,000) to the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief on March 6, according to the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief.

"I hope that enough needed relief materials are soon supplied to victims and firemen working at the disaster location," the actor said. I also hope that the wildfire may be put out and the damage repaired as quickly as feasible."

On March 7, the same group said that Shin Min Ah, Park Min Young, Lee Jong Suk, Yoo Jae Suk, and Kim Hye Soo had each donated 100 million won. Shin Min Ah's donation will go towards specific commodities needed by the victims, in addition to immediate assistance supplies.

Park Min Young requested that her donation be used for temporary accommodation after the wildfire damaged over a hundred residences. "Park Min Young felt extremely heartbroken after hearing about the victims of the disaster," her agency Hook Entertainment said. She made a donation because she wanted to assist wildfire victims in getting back on their feet as quickly as possible. "To the wildfire victims, we hope Park Min Young's humble gesture of support may provide you with some strength."

The money donated by Lee Jong Suk will be used to build mobile homes to provide temporary lodging for victims. The gifts of Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Hye Soo will help supply emergency relief kits and cover expenses for numerous other things needed by victims and rescuers.

The Republic of Korea National Red Cross received a donation of 100 million won from Song Hye Kyo. "I hope that the victims who lost their homes due to the wildfire will be able to rapidly return to their regular life," the actress said through the foundation. I'm hoping that this donation can benefit a large number of people, especially victims and emergency assistance workers on the ground."

Jun Hyun Moo gave 100 million won to the Korean Community Chest to provide victims with emergency aid. His gift will be used to fund costs associated with wildfire recovery and victim assistance. "I am deeply concerned for the wildfire victims who have lost their houses and are going through difficult times," Jun Hyun Moo said. I hope the fire is swiftly put out, and I hope [our donation] provides some assistance to residents and firemen in the impacted areas."

Kim Sejeong, Yoon Jung Hee, and Yoon Se Ah also donated through the National Disaster Relief's Hope Bridge Association. Kim Sejeong's donation of 10 million won (about $8,100) would go toward disaster assistance and recovery in affected cities, as well as victims' homes and livelihood.

"I have conveyed my intention to support inhabitants of areas that have been devastated by the wildfire," Yoon Jung Hee said of his donation of 50 million won.

"I strongly hope a tragedy like this is not repeated," Yoon Se Ah said on Instagram after donating 10 million won.
