tVN Drama 'Kill Heel' Premieres On Top of Its Time Slot

The drama is off to a promising start!

"Kill Heel," tvN's newest drama, is off to a great start!

"Kill Heel" is a drama that follows three ambitious ladies as they compete in the competitive world of home shopping networks. Kim Ha Neul plays program host Woo Hyun, who aspires to break out from her monotonous life by becoming the top host at UNI Home Shopping, and Lee Hye Young plays UNI Home Shopping executive Mo Ran, who rose from humble beginnings to the top. Kim Sung Ryung plays Ok Sun, a glamorous talk show anchor married to a powerful politician who appears to have it all.

The new drama premiered on March 9 at the top of its time slot. According to Nielsen Korea, the debut episode of "Kill Heel" received an average nationwide rating of 4.4 percent and a peak of 5.4 percent, placing it top among all cable channels in its time slot.

"Kill Heel" also won its time slot among viewers aged 20 to 49, with a countrywide average of 2.1 percent and a peak of 2.7 percent.

Meanwhile, due to coverage of the South Korean presidential election, both JTBC's "Thirty-Nine" and iHQ and MBN's "Sponsor" did not show last night. The next episode of "Sponsor" will run on March 10, and "Thirty-Nine" will return on March 16.
