NCT Dream Chenle To Restrict Participation in Activities Due To Ankle Injury

His agency also mentioned that the idol is currently seeking treatment.

Chenle, a member of the NCT, was injured and his activities were announced by SM Entertainment on March 16. "Chenle recently injured his left ankle while rehearsing for the comeback of NCT Dream's 2nd regular album, and is seeking treatment," SM Entertainment said.

"As the artist's health is our top priority, we tried to focus on recovering from injuries," they continued. "However, Chenle announced that he would like to meet fans while working on the album, so we plan to participate in the schedule as long as it is not unreasonable."

Chenle is a South Korean-based Chinese singer, songwriter, and actor. Chenle began his career as a kid performer, appearing in a number of concerts and television events both in China and overseas. He was the youngest vocalist to be asked to perform solo at Vienna's Golden Hall when he was nine years old.

Chenle had recorded three solo CDs and hosted one solo show in China by the age of 14. He relocated to South Korea in 2016 to join the South Korean boy band NCT, making his debut as a member of their sub-unit NCT Dream, which has already produced three Korean EPs and completed one Asian tour.

'Glitch Mode,' NCT DREAM's second full-length album, will be released on March 28th. There are 11 songs on this album, including the title track 'Glitch Mode.'
