We'd like to share some information with you about BTS member Jin's finger injury, which occurred recently.

When Jin sustained an injury to his left index finger in the course of his everyday duties on Friday, March 18, he went to the emergency department of a neighboring hospital for evaluation and treatment. He sought medical attention and was informed that he would require surgery since the tendons in his finger had been partially severed. On the afternoon of Friday, March 18, he underwent surgery to repair the extensor tendon in his left index finger, which was successful.

According to the physicians, everything went smoothly throughout the procedure. Jin was released from the hospital on Saturday, March 19, in the early morning hours and has been recuperating since then. For the time being, he will be restrained in a cast to aid in his stabilization and rapid recovery.

Jin will concentrate on rest and therapy in order to fully recover from his injuries and to be able to return to his previous activities without interruption.

We will continue to give assistance to Jin in order for him to recuperate as quickly as possible, with the health and safety of our artists being our first concern.
