The eldest member of boy band SF9 enlists in the military to finish his mandatory service on March 21, 2022, will hold a special place in the hearts of all Fantasys. Inseong is the first of the nine members of the ensemble to join the military, where he will serve in the military band for one year and six months.

As previously revealed on February 5, Inseong enrolled secretly and requested that his fans not be present at his enlistment site in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to respect other military people. The singer, on the other hand, had his closest friends and family at his side as he embarked on a new journey. On their trip to the enlistment place, Hwiyoung, Zuho, Jaeyoon, and Yoo Taeyang joined him and conducted a live broadcast in the car. They sought to lighten the mood by expressing their wishes for his safe return.

The same five members had just done a Naver VLIVE broadcast the day prior, where they discussed his enlistment and interacted with fans. Soon after, Inseong gave his followers an update on his new hairstyle. He disclosed how his fellow members assisted him with the cut and shared a video of it. In the video, Jaeyoon, Yoo Taeyang, Dawon, and Chani can be seen assisting Inseong in chopping off his prized bangs.

The artist also posted a photo of the two of them shortly before entering his enlistment spot, promising to return in good health. Leader Youngbin will be the SF9's second enlistment. From March 29, he will be an active duty soldier.
