Mark Tuan of GOT7 previously teased the upcoming solo single 'Lonely' with a graphic that pointed to the song's theme and concept on Twitter and Instagram. The artist has his fans ready for the song, surrounded by torn paper and looking off into the distance with a melancholy expression.

Mark Tuan is a rapper, singer, composer, and model from the United States. He is a member of the GOT7 boy band from South Korea. Mark, along with the other six members of GOT7, decided not to renew his contract with JYP Entertainment in January 2021.

Mark Tuan started a YouTube account after he left, and it quickly grew to nearly a million subscribers before he had even posted any content. He then posted his debut video on January 21.

On February 7, Mark's firm, 'Mark Tuan Studio,' opened in Beijing, China, with a focus on his solo Chinese operations and promotions. On February 12, he collaborated with Sanjoy Deb on the tune "One in a Million." On Valentine's Day, he published an animated music video on his YouTube page, which he also executive produced. GOT7's 'Encore' music video, which was released on February 20, was executive produced by Mark.
