(G)-IDLE Becomes The First Group of 2022 To Achieve 'Perfect All-Kill'

Congratulations to (G)-IDLE and TOMBOY!

With the current comeback 'TOMBOY,' (G)I-DLE earned a Perfect All-Kill, a first in 2022, according to iCharts. When a song is No. 1 on Melon's daily and 24Hits charts, Genie and Bugs' daily and realtime charts, VIBE's daily chart, and FLO and iChart's realtime charts, it is considered a certified all-kill.

In other news, on Mnet's 'M Countdown,' (G)I-DLE came in #1 with 'TOMBOY,' which aired on March 24th. As a result, on March 22nd, SBS MTV'The Show' and MBC Every1's 'Show! On this day, the music shows 'Champion' and 'M Countdown' won three prizes. The new song 'Tomboy,' which was published on March 14th, mixes (G)I-distinctive DLE's voice with a fantastic musical sound. The rough and strong atmosphere, as well as the straightforward lyrics, stand out. At the same time as the comeback, (G)I-'TOMBOY' DLE's led the Genie Real Time Chart for 154 hours, according to Genie Music. It also spent three days at the top of the Genie Daily Chart.

Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua are the members of (G)I-DLE. Soojin left the group on August 14, 2021, after being a part of it since its inception as a six-piece. The group made their debut with the single 'Latata' from their first extended play, 'I Am,' on May 2, 2018. With 'Latata,' the quartet made its U-Cube debut in Japan on July 31, 2019.

The group was nicknamed the year's "monster rookies" and is widely regarded as one of the most successful South Korean girl groups outside of the "big three" record labels. 'Latata,' 'Hann (Alone),' 'Senorita,' 'Uh-Oh,' 'Lion,' 'Oh My God,' 'Dumdi Dumdi,' 'Hwaa,' and 'Tomboy' are among the group's six extended plays and nine singles released since their debut. (G)I-DLE are directly involved in the composition of their songs, which is unique for a K-pop girl group. Soyeon, in particular, has written or co-written (as well as co-produced) the majority of the group's title song releases, with Minnie and Yuqi co-writing a large number of album tracks.
