Kim Sejeong To Star in New Drama 'Today's Webtoon'

This drama is said to be a remake of the Japanese series 'Sleepeeer Hit!.

Kim Sejeong's next acting endeavor, 'Today's Webtoon' (literal title), will air later this year on SBS, according to a statement released on March 25. According to reports, the new drama would be a remake of the Japanese serial 'Sleepeeer Hit!' ', which came out in 2016. The story follows a judo athlete who accepts a job as a webtoon editorial assistant.

Oh Ma Eum, her character, is a new employee who will strive to establish herself as an editor in the world of webtoons. She decides to embark on a new adventure after retiring from judo due to a ligament tear in her ankle. Her new job is prompted by a food delivery she makes to the webtoon's editing department, which sparks her interest in the position. She intends to start a new career with a positive approach despite her problems. Nam Yoon Su was previously rumoured to be in talks to star in the show.

Kim Sejeong has made it her goal to become a household figure in the Korean acting profession, and she's doing so with new projects that are only becoming better. The artist, who began her career as a singer, quickly made her mark in the acting industry by starring as Ra Eun Ho in the 2017 installment of the popular 'School' series.

In the SBS drama 'Business Proposal,' she is now stealing the hearts of audiences as food researcher Shin Ha Ri, who is also known as Jin Young Seo and Shin Geum Hi at times. With each episode, her chemistry with Ahn Hyo Seop is the buzz of the town. Kim Sejeong recently tested positive for COVID-19, causing her fan meeting to be postponed.
