Snoop Dogg Confirms Collaboration With BTS

The rapper mentioned that the collab is already in the works.

Snoop Dogg claims that his long-rumored collaboration with BTS is now "officially" occurring!

Snoop Dogg revealed earlier this year that BTS had contacted him about a possible collaboration, piqueing fans' interest in the idea of a collaboration between the two iconic artists.

The A.V. Club stated on March 25 local time that Snoop Dogg had personally verified that he will be working with BTS on new songs, but that he was waiting for BTS to release the details. "I'm going to let them tell you about the BTS experience you keep talking about," the American rapper added.

He did, however, suggest that the collaboration was a foregone conclusion, saying, "It's official like a referee with a whistle."

Snoop Dogg, who has previously worked with Korean musicians such as Girls' Generation, 2NE1, PSY, and MONSTA X, went on to express his admiration for the genre. "I'm a huge fan of the entertainment industry," he remarked. "It's a nice piece of music." It has a certain mood to it. I'm a talented musician. They have a good sound. And this is what we end up doing. Bringing our worlds together is what it's all about."

"I've been connected to the music industry [and] scene for a long time, and I've been having the K-pop experience for a long time," he stated. "Back in the day, I had a record with a group called 2NE1. Let's face it, it's what I do."
