KBS New Drama 'Red Heart' Unveils New Stills Featuring Jang Hyuk

Are you excited for this upcoming drama?

The first look at Jang Hyuk in "Red Heart" (literal title) has been released by KBS!

The upcoming fictional historical drama follows Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who must abandon the lady he loves in order to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who must become the queen in order to survive.

Park Gye Won, the first vice-premier and the true power of Joseon, is played by Jang Hyuk. He possesses a tiger's charm as well as a scholar's intelligence. He experienced the king's tyranny as a child, and as a result, he became the leader of a group that deposed the ruler. Everyone obeys him because he is a living symbol of power, and he is a "king maker" who vows to "create a wise and young king with his own hands" so that the foundations of Joseon are not shattered by tyrants again.

Park Gye Won's characteristic poker look catches notice in the new stills. It's difficult to read what he's thinking or feeling since he's like a closed book. His eyes are strong, and he sparkles in his immaculate and tidy government robes, despite his unreadable demeanor. His strong face and frightening eyes are depicted in one photo, and he emanates cool charisma, generating suspicions about what he's really like.

"In each setting, not only does Jang Hyuk become engrossed in his character in a moment, but he also draws admiration with his reserved eyes and facial expressions," the drama's creators said. We're particularly interested to see how he portrays the good and evil aspects of his two-faced character. Please watch 'Red Heart' to see what kind of new side Jang Hyuk, the master of transformations, will reveal with his electrifying performance that will give you chills."

Following the completion of "Crazy Love," KBS will telecast "Red Heart" later this year.
