Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin To Lead New Romantic Space Comedy Drama 'Ask the Stars'

Are you ready to see the two stars act in one drama?

Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin have been cast in the upcoming drama series 'Ask the Stars' (literal translation)! The series is a romantic comedy about an astronaut and a tourist who meet on a space station and fall in love. The project is written by Seo Sook Hyang of 'Pasta' and 'Don't Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate)' fame and directed by Park Shin Woo of 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' and 'Lovestruck in the City' fame.

Lee Min Ho will play Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN, in the film Gong Ryong, which will be released on March 28 after months of uncertainty (obstetrician-gynaecologist). With a strong feeling of responsibility, he visits a space station as a tourist, where he meets Gong Hyo Jin's Korean-American astronaut Eve Kim.

Currently set to premiere in 2023, writer Seo Sook Hyang was originally reported to have been working on the project for the preceding three years in November 2021. 'Ask the Stars' is also said to include a space station filming set that will cost around 40 billion KRW (approximately $33.8 million USD) and will begin filming in April.

Lee Min Ho is presently starring in the Apple TV+ series 'Pachinko,' which is based on the same-named best-selling novel. Meanwhile, actress Gong Hyo Jin's most recent drama, 'When the Camellia Blooms,' was a critical and commercial success, leaving us eagerly anticipating the two actresses' next ventures.

With a large budget, an intriguing plotline, and two well-known actors working together for the first time, 'Ask the Stars' is shaping up to be a highly anticipated drama. Keep an eye out for additional information!
