Netflix Drama ‘The Sound of Magic’ Announces Premiere Date

This upcoming fantasy music drama stars Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Youp.

'The Sound of Magic,' a Netflix fantasy music drama, will be launched on May 6th. The initial teaser image for the drama, which featured an invitation from the mystery magician Lee Eul, revealed the show's release date. "You... Do you believe in magic?" says the light that spreads between the unfolded invitations. ", foreshadows a fantastical tale.

The drama follows Yoon Ah Yi (Choi Sung Eun), a high school student who works part-time jobs to support herself and her younger sister. Her parents have vanished, and she has no idea where they are. Due to debt collectors, her father was forced to leave the house, and her mother followed suit. Despite her terrible financial condition, she is able to achieve academically towards the top of her class.

Yoon Ah Yi aspires to be an adult as quickly as possible in order to have a stable employment. Meanwhile, Na Il Deung is a classmate of hers (Hwang In Youp). He competes with Yoon Ah Yi on a regular basis for the best grade, but they begin to develop affections for each other. At an abandoned amusement park, Yoon Ah Yi encounters magician Lee Eul (Ji Chang Wook). He does magic shows for individuals who say they believe in it. He is an enigmatic figure, but he consoles Yoon Ah Yi, who told him she believes in magic.

Director Kim Seong Yoon, who is known for his sensitive sensibility in films such as 'Itaewon Class,' 'Love in the Moonlight,' and 'Discovery of Love,' will direct, and writer Kim Min Jung, who previously collaborated with the director on 'Love in the Moonlight,' will write the script.
