TREASURE Surpasses 800,000 Sales With 'THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE' + To Release 'DARARI' M/V

Congratulations to both TREASURE and Teumes!

On March 28th, YG Entertainment revealed that TREASURE's first mini album, 'THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE,' had sold over 800,000 copies. Given that TREASURE has the highest single album sales record and that the follow-up song promotion will begin in mid-April, being a million-seller is not out of the question.

TREASURE expanded their potential when they launched their full-fledged activities, which had been eagerly anticipated since the first mini album pre-order surpassed 600,000 copies even before their comeback. Not only the album's main song, 'JIKJIN,' but also the b-side song, 'DARARI,' which had no music video or performance stage, grew in popularity on TikTok and left an indelible mark on the public.

TREASURE will be working on a follow-up song in order to repay the fans' devotion. The 'DARARI' stage was announced for the concert on April 9 and 10. YG also chose to make a music video for the song. Album sales are one of the figures that can tell the extent of the core fandom's expansion. They may not be an absolute popularity measure, but they are regarded one of the figures that can reveal the extent of the core fandom's expansion.

The number of global fans who purchase TREASURE's records is gradually increasing, and when these concert stages and follow-up activities are coupled, more synergy is predicted. The album topped the iTunes rankings in 30 countries and the world's album charts, and it occupied Japan's Oricon weekly charts after winning two titles in the domestic Gaon charts in February.

The title song, 'JIKJIN,' went on to earn first place in several major music site rankings, two music shows ('Show Champion' and 'Music Bank,' respectively), and a spot on the US Billboard Global 200 chart.
