Apink's Chorong Settles With Her School Violence Accuser By Dropping Charges

It seems like the two sides have already cleared their misunderstandings.

Chorong of Apink has finally gotten to the bottom of her long-running disagreement with her high school violence accusation.

Apink's agency declared in April of last year that they will be pursuing legal action against Chorong's childhood buddy (hereinafter referred to as "A") for making false threats. IST Entertainment provided an update on the legal proceedings in November, announcing that "A" had been found guilty of issuing threats based on false information and that the case had been referred to the prosecution.

Chorong's management company, IST Entertainment, issued the following statement on March 28:

Hello.

This is Apink’s Park Chorong’s agency IST Entertainment.

We are informing you that Park Chorong and “A” have resolved all their misunderstandings regarding the series of issues that have caused concern starting last year, and they have agreed to drop all the lawsuits that they had filed against each other during that time, so they are currently in the process of dropping all the accusations.

Recently, the two people met separately while excluding everyone around them, and they had a meaningful time in which they listened to each other’s stories.

Through their meeting, which occurred for the first time in 13 years, the two opened up about what they were disappointed in the other about and the uncomfortable feelings they had for one another, holding a very frank conversation.

After the end of the meaningful discussion, the two resolved all the misunderstandings they had for one another, and they agreed to let go of all the quarreling and the war of attrition, which have been very difficult. Furthermore, they will drop all the lawsuits that they had filed against each other, and they will return to their everyday lives.

IST Entertainment apologizes for causing concern to many people during this period. We express our gratitude to everyone who was concerned.

Thank you.
