MAMAMOO's Moonbyul Slated to Come Back Next Month

Her agency has confirmed the news to the press.

Moonbyul of Mamamoo will release new solo music in April, according to a report in a local media outlet published on Wednesday.

Following the publication of the report, the news was confirmed by the agency RBW Entertainment.

It was in January that she released her third solo EP, "6quence," which was her first new music in in two years. The EP debuted at the top of the iTunes top albums chart in 20 countries and sold more than 70,000 copies in its first week.

Her debut solo EP, "Selfish," was released in 2018. She is the second member of the quintet to have released a solo album, following Wheein, who released "Selfish" in 2017.

The band's best-of album in Japan, "I Say Mamamoo the Best Japan Edition," was released last week and has songs from all of their albums. In addition, the trio released the documentary "MMM Where Are We Now" last week, which chronicles their seven-year history.
