Seo In Guk Tests Positive For COVID-19

'Minamdang' filming will temporaily halt filming until the actor recovers.

Because of his COVID-19 positive test, Seo In Guk has temporarily paused filming for his next drama 'Minamdang' (romanized title). Seo In Guk's agency issued a statement declaring the same on March 29. The actor tested positive for the virus using a self-test kit before to a filming for his next KBS series 'Minamdang,' according to the statement, and later obtained an official diagnosis at a hospital.

Seo In Guk has already got three doses of the viral vaccination and is now exhibiting no symptoms. As a result of his positive diagnosis, the actor is currently self-isolating and will be unable to participate in filming for 'Minamdang.'

"In accordance with health authorities' standards, Seo In Guk will focus exclusively on his treatment while in self-quarantine," his agency added, adding, "We are already rescheduling his forthcoming itinerary."

'Minamdang,' based on a web book of the same name, is a mystery-comedy starring Seo In Guk as Nam Han Joon, a former profiler turned bogus shaman. Seo In Guk's character makes his customers feel he has magical abilities by using his profiling skills to precisely address their problems. He'll be joined by actress Oh Yeon Seo, who will play Han Jae Hee, a violent crimes detective with a strong sense of justice. The debut of 'Minandang' was initially reported to happen in the first half of this year.
