Hyun Bin, 39, and Son Ye-jin, 40, were married in a private ceremony on Thursday afternoon. The couple are both well-known actors.

The wedding, which took place at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjin-gu, eastern Seoul, and was held under heavy security, was attended by the couple's parents, family, and friends.

Hyun's lifelong friend, actor Jang Dong-gun, presented a celebratory speech, while singers Gummy, Kim Bum-soo, and Paul Kim performed for the newlyweds in their home.

They revealed their relationship at the beginning of 2021, following their appearances in the film "The Negotiation" (2018) and the successful tvN rom-com series "Crash Landing on You" (2019).

Following a two-year courtship, the pair revealed in February that they would be getting married in March.

After appearing in several megahit television series, including the MBC sitcom "Nonstop 4" (2004), the romantic comedy "My Lovely Sam-soon" (2005), and the SBS fantasy romance "Secret Garden," Hyun established himself as a household figure (2011).

The parts she played in the South Korean romantic comedies "Lover's Concerto" (2002), "The Classic" (2003), and "A Moment To Remember" (2004) propelled Son to stardom. All three films are considered masterpieces of the genre in their respective countries.

In addition to acting, Son is now featured in the JTBC drama series "Thirty-Nine."
