Jungkook goes on V LIVE to sing and sells out expensive knitwear

BTS’s Jungkook rarely goes live these days, but when he does, he always makes an impact.

The Golden Maknae recently held a live broadcast on V LIVE, in which he sang karaoke for ARMY. Not only did Jungkook cover some of his current favorite songs by other artists, but he also performed solo renditions of BTS hits, all while helping another small business in the process. This time, the business in question is a clothing line called F8ke Chemical Club, a genderless New York and Seoul-based brand by Park Jeong Eun.

The fans who tuned in to Jungkook’s broadcast eventually realized their boy was sporting the brand’s Khaki Knit shirt and matching pants—both of which happen to be see-through. The fans went wild. Not only did they freak out about Jungkook’s outfit (and how amazing he looked in it), but they decided to buy it too. The set costs 470 USD, but despite the fact that it’s somewhat expensive, it sold out soon after the Korean superstar ended his broadcast.

As if that wasn’t enough proof of ARMY’s power, the brand’s Instagram only had 759 followers to begin with. As of this writing, it now has over 13,000 followers and counting—all thanks to Jungkook. In an Instagram story, the brand thanked the Golden Maknae and his fans for supporting the Khaki Knit set. They also reassured everyone that they’re doing their best to make more of it to keep up with the sudden surge in demand.
