5 Actors We Want to See in SNL Korea's Reboot

We can't wait to see these actors dish in their new sides in SNL Korea once they get casted!

SNL Korea is reported to be back after three years of hiatus!

Several news outlets have reported that the famous Korean comedy variety show will be back after its three-year hiatus, with Shin Dongyup as the official host of the show. Some other personalities who are slated to join the new cast include Cha Chunghwa (of Mr. Queen fame) and Red Velvet's Wendy.

So far, only Jo Jungsuk and Lee Byunghun are somewhat confirmed to appear as weekly hosts for the program, with both of them reviewing the offers positively.

SNL Korea is known for having no boundaries when it comes to their skits, which can be overly sexual or upfront, always catching their guests off guard with their sudden antics and ad libs. Thus, a lot of people enjoy watching this show seeing how these celebrities react in flustering situations.

Here are five actors who we want to see go crazy with the SNL Korea cast on its scheduled comeback!

Lee Kwangsoo

We already know how crazy and insane Lee Kwangsoo can be when it comes to reality shows, after having eleven solid years of existence in Running Man as a fixed member. He says he does not go to other variety shows other than Running Man and Busted, but we want to see him ham it up in hilarious skits where he can showcase his acting charms, even though most of us just want to see him make a fool of himself on some sketches.

EXO Acting Line

EXO is one of those groups whose some members have successfully branched out to acting roles, and they are the only ones from SM's senior groups who haven't participated in many variety shows lately. With members D.O, Kai, and Sehun still available for work, maybe they can give this one a try. Their senior labelmates SHINee and Super Junior have already appeared in SNL Korea countless times, so it would be refreshing to see any member from the acting line dish in their acting chops in their SNL Korea appearances.

Jeon Somin

It would be crazy seeing Jeon Somin in other variety shows aside from Running Man and Sixth Sense. This accomplished actress is one of those celebrities who have successfully juggled acting in dramas and appearing in variety shows. Her cheerful and flirty characters in the variety shows have made tons of people laugh, especially when she and Lee Kwangsoo bicker and quarrel against each other in Running Man. She is planning to return to the acting scene, and we are hoping that she can consider going to SNL Korea to promote her upcoming drama or film.

Moonbin

Idol-actor Moonbin from Astro is known for having a funny personality as well, as seen on his videos hanging out with his Astro members. He and Cha Eunwoo has the best chemistry, so it would be amazing if he could star in an appearance with Eunwoo about bromance or something. SNL Korea is known for having one of the most open-minded sketches, creating laugh-worthy content about sexual health, same-sex relationships, and famous celebrity gossips, so having Moonbin act one of their hilariously racy fanfics would be a treat to the audiences.

Lee Joongi

Versatile and multi-talented actor Lee Joongi has shown on several variety shows that he can ham it up and sacrifice some of his veritable acting image for a few laughs. With his acting spectrum ranging from serious to comedic, he can surely nail those naughty and funny SNL Korea sketches. Just like his fellow actor Song Jae-rim, he is not afraid to make a fool of himself, and it will surely translate into so many viewers loving his crazy antics. Also, his latest variety appearance on Knowing Brothers has recorded the highest ratings for the JTBC show a few years ago. Thus, we can be assured that we will have tons of fun watching him on the show.

We're hoping some of them would appear there!
