Kim Min Gwi's scenes are going to be edited out of the JTBC drama "Nevertheless", due to his cheating controversy.

They will edit out Kim Min Gwi starting from episode 8 towards the end of the drama.

Someone claiming to be Kim Min Gwi's ex-girlfriend had previously uploaded an internet post stating that the actor had cheated on her multiple times throughout their six-year relationship. She also claimed that he had cheated on her by breaking COVID-19 quarantine regulations.

Big Picture Entertainment, Kim Min Gwi's agency, responded by saying that the actor admitted to wrongdoings in his personal life but denied violating COVID-19 quarantine requirements when he tested positive for the virus in May. Kim Min Gwi posted a handwritten letter to his personal Instagram account on July 27.

As for the storyline, it is said that Yang Hyeji's airtime will also be potentially decreased since she is Kim Min Gwi's character's partner in the drama. However, netizens are asking the writers to just give her a new partner as her acting chops are too good to be edited out.
