MBC's upcoming show Wild Idol has released its first set of contestants to the public through their photos.

MBC's "Wild Idol" is a new audition show that will actually put the "survival" in "survival show." Contestants will be judged on their physical endurance, skill level, and secret potential as they compete for the opportunity to debut in the outdoors.

The show will be hosted by Kim Jong Kook, with Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Sun Bin, INFINITE's Sunggyu, Brave Girls' Yujeong, and Lee Hyun Yi serving as panelists to observe the competitors' improvement. Sunggyu, Tiger JK, Bizzy, Lia Kim, and NELL's Kim Jong Wan are among the coaches who will provide guidance to the candidates.

In an interesting twist, MBC did not provide names of these contestants but rather, gave them numbers as identifiers. Here are some of the first contestants:

Wild Idol contestant #1 holds a vocal position and has specialties in plays and musicals. Either he is a musical actor aspirant or an acting major in high school.

Wild Idol contestant #2 aims to be a rapper in the debut group. He is into exhibition art.

Wild Idol contestant #3 is a vocal and is also good at musicals. He looks like a bit of a cross between a young actor and a model. He also looks tall and athletic, which makes him a perfect fit in the competition.

Wild Idol contestant #4 is also a vocal, and he enjoys acrobatics and breakdancing, making him an all-rounder in this competition.

Wild Idol #5 is a dancer and he loves studying. His youthful looks are sure to charm fans of all ages.

Lastly, Wild Idol contestant #6 is a dancer who can also act with convincing facial expressions. He reminds us of a younger Jung Sewoon from Produce 101 season 2.
