After a three-week hiatus because of MBC's live coverage of the Tokyo Olympics, the new MCs of MBC Show! Music Core has been finalized.

Stray Kids Lee Know and NCT Jungwoo will join Kim Minju as the new hosts for the MBC weekly music show. They will be showcasing their talents and charms with Kim Minju in their first performance on August 14. Minju has been hosting the show since her IZ*ONE days, while it is both Lee Know and Jungwoo's first times hosting a television show.

NCT Jungwoo said he feels honored to be an MC of the show and promises to give his all while hosting with his partners. Stray Kids Lee Know mentioned that he feels pressured to be a host but he will use this opportunity to improve more as an artist and as an entertainer. Kim Minju promised to continue making Saturdays more fun and energetic with her new co-hosts.

Lee Know will be replacing his fellow member Hyunjin, whose hosting duties were cut short due to his school violence controversy. Jungwoo will be replacing SF9's Chani, who is more focused on his group activities and acting gigs.

The boys will be showing their different sides with individual stages before joining Kim Minju in a group performance to start the show.
