Which 'Girls Planet 999' trainees earned 3 million votes each?

Here's a clue: All of them are from the K-Group.

According to NCSOFT’s fandom platform UNIVERSE, millions of fans in more than 100 countries cast votes for the Girls Planet 999 trainees on the first day of global voting for the show’s first mission. That means a grand total of 3.72 million votes came in during the first 24 hours.

UNIVERSE went on to announce that 157 countries from all over Asia, Europe, North America, and South America participated in the voting to make sure their favorites would make it through the show’s first mission.

The first mission began in the show’s second episode, which also saw the announcement of the first set of Top 9 trainees. After the girls divided themselves into groups of three, each of those groups was called a “cell.” All in all, 33 cells were formed in that episode. The cells were then told that the first mission, called “Connect Mission,” would begin immediately.

UNIVERSE is the official fandom platform of Girls Planet 999, and fans from China, Japan, Korea, and other countries have to download the app in order to vote for their favorites. Fifty percent of the votes from the fans in the first three countries will be combined with 50% of the global votes to determine the outcome of the first round.

The global voting system of Girls Planet 999 consists of two parts. First, there’s cell voting, which determines which cells are safe and which ones will go home. Next, there’s individual voting, where fans can vote for one trainee in each of the three groups (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean). In the first round, 16 cells (which amounts to 45 girls) will be eliminated.

As of August 14, only three of the 99 girls have earned more than three million votes: Kang Yeseo, Kim Chaehyun, and Huening Bahiyyih, the sister of TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s maknae Hueningkai (whose real name is Kai Kamal Huening).

Bahiyyih was actually the first Girls Planet 999 contestant to earn three million votes, which proves how much global viewers love her.
